William Cheng first joined the Hong Kong film industry in 1985. He is a member of DGA (DIRECTOR GUILD OF AMERICA), After 25 years of hard work, he started to work for Director Stanley Tong as Associate Director and directed many action films starring the international action star Jacky Chan including “ Who Am I ”, “Rumble in the Bronx”, “ Police Story ” and “Rush Hour” etc. He also worked for director John Woo as Associate Director for his short movie “All the Invisible Children”. ”. In 2007 he worked as producer in feature film “Push” directed by Paul Mcguigan. , He was produced a “RED CIRCLE” for “Johnnie To” & “MY LUCKY STAR “for “ZHANG ZIYI” as a producer.
William has worked as a Development Producer for TWO FUNDING COMPANY in CHINA since 2010.
As an experienced Line Producer, Associate Director & 1st Ass, William has good understanding and strong connection over Hong Kong, China and America film industry. This will no doubt help him to further his career in the future.
Miss Purcy Cheung is very active in Film productions and TV Commercials. Especially adore to Film production. After she studied Film Studies in University of Derby since 1994, then she worked in Hong Kong film industry and muti-media.
From 1994 until now, she has attended over twenty movies. In 1997, she started to develop TV Commercials. In 2004, Purcy joined Alchemy International Limited as a producer; afterwards, she set up Alchemy Icon Limited with two partners in 2005, mainly provided film production service and TV Commercials.
Purcy Cheung has attended local film productions as a production manager which are directed by Mr. Johnnie To’s movies – “PTU”, “Help”; Starring Andy Lau’s movies – “All About Love”, “Brothers”; directed by Mr. Derek Yee -“Protégé”, “Shinjuku Incident”; directed by Mr. Jeff Lau – “Time Traveler” and “East meet West”; directed by Alan Mak “The Silent War”; She is a producer of “Rigor Mortis” directed by Juno Mak.
Purcy has attended International film productions, which are directed by Mr. Tony Scott “Spy Game”, “James Bond”; directed by Mr. Jan de Bond – “Tomb Raider II”. In 2004, Purcy co-produced a French movie“La Moustache”, directed by Mr. Emmanuel Carrere, starring by Vincent Lindon and Emmanuelle Devos. In 2006, she attended an American movie, directed by Mr. Michael Gleissner-“Irreversi”, A Korean movies – “HIT”.
